Moses Tucker Partners, a Little Rock-based real estate developer, announced on July 25 that Arkansas Oklahoma Gas/Summit Utilities has signed a 10-year lease on 28,000 square-feet of space in the Arkansas College of Health Education (ACHE) building in Fort Smith. The ACHE building, located at 1000 Fianna Way, has been rated as Class-A office space, meaning it is some of the finest office space available in terms of accessibility, technology, infrastructure and more. Moses Tucker Partners represents the landlord and manages the property.

The lease covers half of the fifth floor of the building, and plans have already been made for $1.5million-$2 million in improvements to begin immediately. These improvements are expected to be completed by January 1, 2023.  ACHE purchased the building in 2020, and an anonymous donation of $32.3 million is to be used for major renovations throughout the facility, including a community art gallery, a ceramics lab with a kiln, a performing arts theater, cooking stations, a mobility lab, a clinical trials lab, as well as outdoor features like trails and a children’s bike park.

“The Summit Utilities transaction represents a major win for ACHE and Fort Smith and cements the organization’s continued commitment to developing long term growth in Fort Smith and Arkansas,” Matthew Beachboard, Brokerage Director with Moses Tucker Partners, said.

“Moses Tucker is proud to associate with the great people of ACHE and with the leaders in the Ft Smith community. Kyle Parker and the team at ACHE are developing legacy projects that we believe will transform the region”  Paul Esterer, Principal and NWA President Moses Tucker Partners, said.
