On Monday, July 11, Hugg & Hall Equipment Company announced the acquisition of RPM Services & Rentals, LLC.
Hugg & Hall is a leading industrial and construction equipment provider in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri. This move will ultimately increase the company to 15 stores while also providing the opportunity to become favorably invested in industry and regional trends.
“The acquisition of RPM fully supports our strategic objectives in South Louisiana, where we see significant growth and demand for equipment rental solutions,” Rick Vollmer, Vice President of Rental at Hugg & Hall, stated in a press release. “Under Terry Gold’s direction, RPM has become a highly valued and reliable partner to industrial and construction companies. We are excited to build upon Terry’s success and to further the good work of RPM’s fantastic team of rental professionals.”
RPM Services is headquartered in Houma, Louisiana, and is one of the largest independent rental companies in the Southeast. The company derives the majority of its revenue from the region’s onshore commercial and construction markets. RPM Services also benefits from the regional offshore oil and gas industry which includes skid-mounted air compressors and tools for painting, blasting, coating, and other maintenance functions.
Founded in 2008 by Terry Gold, RPM Services has approximately 30 employees. “We are thrilled to join the Hugg & Hall team,” said Gold. “This transaction presents fantastic synergies for both companies. Hugg & Hall will bring tremendous resources to our employees and loyal customers and together we will execute a smart growth strategy for South Louisiana.”
