The location of the ceremony with be at 1512 E. Centerton Blvd. The current goal is for the restaurant to open in February 2023.

In January 2022, AMP reported that Wienerschnitzel had signed for 20 restaurants across Arkansas over the next 12 years, beginning with three stores in Northwest Arkansas to jump start the development schedule with Tejas Dogs LLC.

Founded in 1961 by John Galardi in Southern California, Wienerschnitzel, also known as the “World’s Largest Hot Dog Chain,” has since grown to serve more than 120 million hot dogs per year. The restaurant is known for its unique brand of chili-covered fries, hot dogs and burgers, as well as its offering of Tastee Freez soft-serve treats.

“We’re confident the team at Tejas Dogs will successfully lead Wienerschnitzel into Arkansas with unrelenting drive, market expertise and vision,” says Ted Milburn, director of franchise development for Wienerschnitzel. “Wienerschnitzel is at the top of a very special segment that has withstood the test of time and is only getting better with age. As we continue to experience unparalleled growth and expand our franchise family, there has never been a better time to partner with Wienerschnitzel.”

California-based Galardi Group Inc. franchises 330 Wienerschnitzel restaurants in 10 states, including Louisiana, and is the parent company and franchisor of Hamburger Stand and Tastee Freez.
