Neal Pendergraft and Lauri Mason, through their family company 2828 Mansfield LLC, broke ground in July 2020 on a new 19,000 sq. ft. two-story office building located just west of the intersection of West Drake Street and North Gregg Avenue in Fayetteville.

The Pendergraft Building, named in honor of Ross and Donnie Pendergraft as a nod to their community minded legacy, will serve as the headquarters for the Pendergraft family business. The building will also feature an additional 12,000 sq. ft. of leased space. Building construction is set to complete in November of this year.
The native stone structure was designed by Nequette Architects Inc. of Birmingham, Alabama. Development and leasing are being managed by High Street Real Estate & Development and construction is being handled by CR Crawford Construction.
The Pendergraft Building is the first project in Drake Farms, a 175-acre property to be developed incrementally over the next 25 years. It is planned as a mixed-use neighborhood developed according to traditional design principles. Centrally located in the heart of Fayetteville, the property consists of several tracts of land purchased by the Pendergraft family over the past quarter-century. It lies north of West Drake Street and spans from Gregg Avenue to Garland Avenue.
In addition to the nearing completion of The Pendergraft Building, the Washington Regional Medical System has also recently entered into an agreement to purchase approximately 15 acres at Drake Farms on property located directly across North Gregg Avenue from the existing Washington Regional Medical Center campus. The agreement also gives WRMS an option to purchase two additional parcels of land at a later date, allowing the healthcare provider to continue to grow and expand services to meet Northwest Arkansas’ growing population as well as attract out-of-area patients. Other future plans for Drake Farms will be announced in due course.
